Happy Father's Day

Fathers Day ~ Sunday 16th June 2019

“A father is neither an anchor to hold us back nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light whose love shows us the way.”

Father’s Day is a time to celebrate fatherhood and to thank all fathers for being TOTALLY AWESOME! This year, Father’s Day falls on the Sunday 16th June. So here are some great ideas to help you enjoy this┬áspecial day.

Firstly, instead of spending money on a card (that will probably eventually end up in the bin), you can try making your own. All you need is a piece of paper or card and some colourful pens. To keep things simple you can draw a lovely heart shape or why not try something more challenging, like a detailed picture of you and your father. Perhaps a drawing of a special memory you have together, like a trip to the beach, or a fun day out, or story time with Daddy. This will really make him smile and is so much more personal. In addition, don’t forget to add a lovely meaningful message in the card. Father's Day Card

You could even try decorating a coat hanger to hang up his favourite suit. There are so many possibilities, but if you are stuck for ideas, check out our great range of gifts here. https://www.carouselshop.co.uk/celebrations/fathers-day.html

Did you know that it also happens to be National Beer Day on the 15th June! What a great coincidence! Why not buy your dad a fancy beer glass to enjoy his favourite tipple. He will certainly thank you when he's drinking a refreshing beer on Father's Day.

Lastly, it is important to remember that you don’t have to spend a fortune on days out. Some of the best things in life are free. Think picnics in the park, BBQs in the garden, a walk to feed the ducks or a movie night in with cosy blankets and popcorn.

You are forever making memories with the BEST DADDY!
